Glitterhouse Records

The Great Crusades recently took part in a demonstration of the CLASP system at Chicago Recording Company, Chicago's premier studio where such artists as The Smashing Pumpkins, Wilco, and Michael Jackson have recorded.

The CLASP system, a new piece of hardware that seamlessly syncs digital recording software with vintage tape machines, was invented by Chris Estes of Endless Audio, and such artists as Adele, Aerosmith, and Lenny Kravitz have recently used the hardware to record new albums. Estes ran the session with the four members of The Great Crusades recording "Hollywood Bungalow" a song from the Glitterhouse Records album Four Thirty.

Grammy-winning producer Blaise Barton assisted Estes at the mixing console. The band recorded the song live to tape and then overdubbed vocal and percussion tracks.
